39,000 Orphans in Kenya and Tanzania Need Our Help to Receive 42 million meals annually
Rising food costs, driven by global instability, are putting thousands of orphans in both Kenya and Tanzania at grave risk. With 282 million people across Africa facing food insecurity, orphanages in these two countries are struggling to provide even the most basic nutrition.
In Kenya and Tanzania combined, 39,000 children in orphanages are at risk of severe hunger if immediate action isn’t taken. The effects of the pandemic, along with escalating food prices, have exacerbated the situation, pushing these children closer to the brink of starvation.
But there is hope. The Children’s Bread has launched a dedicated program to provide 41.6 million meals annually, ensuring that these children have the sustenance they need to grow and thrive. With your support, we can combat this crisis and make a tangible difference in the lives of these vulnerable children. Together, we can be the solution.
